1. Who we are

Calxo (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a personal wealth workspace for retail investors, available at calxo.app. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Calxo, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

  • Account information — your email address and display name, provided directly or via Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0).
  • Portfolio and trade data — portfolios, trades, and investment records you enter manually or import into the app.
  • Usage data — basic analytics (page views, errors) to help us improve the product. No cross-site tracking.

We do not collect payment information, social security numbers, or any government identifiers. We do not link to your brokerage accounts or access any external financial accounts.

3. How we use your information

  • To authenticate you and provide access to your portfolios.
  • To store and display your portfolio and trade data.
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset).
  • To diagnose errors and improve the service.

We do not use your data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or share it with anyone outside our trusted infrastructure providers.

4. Third parties

We use trusted third-party infrastructure providers to host and operate the service. These providers process your data only as necessary to deliver the service and are bound by appropriate data processing agreements. We do not sell or share your data with any third party for advertising or marketing purposes.

If you sign in with Google, we receive only your email address and display name from Google. We do not access any other Google account data.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated portfolios and trades are permanently deleted within 30 days.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
  • Withdraw consent to any data processing where consent is the legal basis.

7. Cookies and local storage

Calxo uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

8. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS and each user can only access their own data. We follow industry-standard security practices and work with infrastructure providers that maintain SOC 2 compliance.

9. Children

Calxo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Calxo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
